Liz DeLuca Jewellery

The beautiful and unique jewellery items Liz designs and makes have been created with her hand made “art-glass” beads. Each piece is hand crafted using quality sterling or Balinese silver findings, Swarovski and Czech crystals.

Liz creates each of her “art-glass” beads using Venetian (Italy), Lauscha (German) or Czech glass rods. The glass is heated using an oxygen fuelled torch and the molten glass is wrapped around a fine mandrel and carefully shaped.

“Each bead then becomes a small canvas” as she applies additional colours and intricate surface decorations to create her unique art beads. Liz’s beads are also decorated using crushed glass (frit), fine silver wire, gold leaf and cubic zirconia.

Each bead is then kiln annealed for durability and strength and carefully cleaned, ready to use in her beautiful “art-glass” jewellery.
