This quaint turn-of-the-century building was originally where the Whitehouse family made their famous Whitehouse Organs in the early 1900's. Those organs were made there and then placed in most City Halls and civic buildings, Cathedrals and churches throughout Australia and New Zealand, including our neighbouring church, St Brigids Red Hill. St Brigids boasts one of The Whitehouse Bros earliest organs and was opened, along with the church itself, in 1914.
The building was subsequently used to house a printing company and even a confectioners! We proudly open the doors to the Red Hill Gallery 7 days a week and show work from some amazing and talented artists on our historic walls. Our building is full of history and character, so come in and visit us next time you are in Red Hill, Brisbane.
